Who is Pr Emmanuel Nforbi?

Emmanuel Nforbi (PhD) is Associate Professor of Linguistics in the department of African Studies, Faculty of Letters and Social Sciences, Dschang University, Cameroon. As language education specialist, he has produced scientific works both in first language education, namely on adult mother tongue literacy, and second language education. His publications include: Oku Grammar (Dschang University Press, 2009),African languages in the Era of Globalisation (Harmattan Cameroon, 2012), Second Language Education in Cameroon (Harmattan Cameroon, 2013) and many other articles in national and international reviews. Professor Nforbi has been actively involved as scientific coordinator in the National Association of Cameroonian Language Committee (NACALCO) and facilitator in mother tongue related courses and seminars organised by SIL, NACALCO, PROPELCA and other organisations. He has also visited and evaluated literacy projects in Ghana. Lately, he has coauthored two papers with Martin Bolivar Siéwoué:

1. Tense and aspect in the era of competence-based English language teaching in Cameroon’s secondary schools, in International Journal of English language teaching, vol 4, N°4, April 2016;
